Incorporatewear’s own Jeff Banks CBE has created “The People’s Catwalk” to support The Prince’s Trust. This ground-breaking event will take place at Manchester’s Trafford Centre from 18-19 September 2010 with a full-sized cat-walk being set up in The Orient area.
The concept sees members of the public buying a limited-edition bag for £10 and having their hair and make-up done professionally (and for free) before taking to the catwalk in any outfit brought along for the occasion. Photographers will be on hand to record the results.
All proceeds will go straight to The Prince’s Trust to support their work with disadvantaged young people in the North West. The charity has helped more than 600,000 14-to-30 year olds who have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have struggled at school.
Incorporatewear are playing a part too, by providing the support crew with polo shirts and caps, decorated in-house at the company’s headquarters in Coleshill.
“We’re always delighted to help out Jeff and The Prince’s Trust”, explains Brian Lamb, Incorporatewear’s Operations Director. “Providing these garments is the least we can do, but its important that the support team look as good as those on the catwalk.”
