Premier Inn online

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Incorporatewear has been providing a number of its blue-chip clients with bespoke on-line ordering functionality for a number of years but, in the last few weeks, the UK’s premier corporatewear clothing supplier has begun to roll-out its own web-based solution.

“The implementation of new systems earlier in the year has allowed us to develop web functionality that provides clients with complete operational transparency,” explains Chris Wood, a director of Incorporatewear. “Clients will have access to real-time data across orders, stocks and deliveries.”

One of the first of Incorporatewear’s clients to experience the service is Premier Inn, one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing hotel chains, whose 15,000 wearers now have direct access to the business on-line.

“Feedback from Premier Inn’s managers has been 100 per cent positive,” enthuses Rob Pollock, Incorporatewear’s Managing Director. “We’re giving a vibrant business operating 24/7, 365 days a year, hands-on control of ordering clothing whenever they want. They’re not tied to help-line opening hours, and clearly they don’t have to generate paperwork or send us faxes any more.”

Incorporatewear is a clear leader in the adoption of technology, its web-ordering facility being recently complemented by the launch of an iPhone app that provides garment tracking, news and wearer information.

Incorporatewear win Virgin Atlantic Contract

Flying High with Virgin Atlantic

Incorporatewear are cruising at 35,000 feet after recently being appointed Virgin Atlantic Airways’ uniform supplier and managing agent.

Virgin Atlantic flies nearly 6 million passengers across the globe from hubs at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow and from September 2010, Incorporatewear will be joining them.

“We are delighted with this appointment,” comments Loraine Manning, Virgin Atlantic’s Indirect Services Category Manager, “Incorporatewear impressed us with their attention to detail, and customer focussed approach, which we feel aligns perfectly with Virgin Atlantic’s core values.”

The directors and staff at Incorporatewear, which already boasts a strong portfolio of blue-chip clients, are equally excited at the prospect of supplying Virgin Atlantic’s bespoke suiting, outerwear and accessories.

“There is enormous worldwide brand recognition for Virgin Atlantic and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” explains Rob Pollock, Incorporatewear’s Managing Director. “Working with Virgin Atlantic will allow us to demonstrate our capabilities in the airline industry, one of the world’s most demanding markets, and Incorporatewear is well prepared to meet the challenge.”

In order to ensure highly efficient supply chain management, Incorporatewear will be sourcing garments from its European manufacturing partners and implementing state-of-the-art integrated web systems.

“Supply chain management, technological solutions and a flexible service offering are key pillars of Incorporatewear’s operational platform,” continues Rob, “consistently ensuring that, in its own sector, Incorporatewear stand out just as fantastically as Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew.”

Now for the news…

“The response to Incorporatewear’s iPhone app has been extraordinary,” explains Chris Wood, a director of Incorporatewear, the UK’s premier corporate clothing supplier.

“We’ve set out our position for the future,” Chris continues, “which we believe will see significantly greater use of the web and mobile technology in the sector. This is just a first step.”

Incorporatewear is certainly looking to the future and sees its iPhone app as an initial move towards much greater use of mobile technology, particularly for clients in remote locations or overseas.

“We’re realistic about initial take-up,” argues Chris, “and as a first mover from the corporatewear sector in this arena we recognise that others may follow our lead. In fact we would welcome that as positive for the industry as a whole but, in the meantime, we’re setting out to provide our clients with solutions for the future now!”

Incorporatewear’s app includes a wearer guide, tracking facilities and links to news feeds and Interchange, the company’s pioneering new web forum.

Incorporatewear’s app has been developed with the help of Paul Rice of Ricemedia (www.ricemedia.co.uk) and can be downloaded free from www.apple.com/uk/itunes.

New P.R. Agent

Incorporatewear recognises the need to promote itself both in the world of corporate uniforms and further afield. As such, the UK’s premier supplier of corporate clothing is delighted to announce the appointment of “hopwood” as their PR agents (www.hopwood.co.uk).

“We’re delighted to be able to work with Incorporatewear,” enthuses Duncan Hopwood, hopwood’s Managing Director. “I am particularly attracted by working with a company that thrives on the provision of high quality, design-led corporate clothing. Incorporatewear has a fantastic client list and, in their sector, stands out as a compelling and very competitive player.”

Hopwood works across all newsprint, digital and social media channels, driving active PR campaigns for public sector bodies, not-for-profit organisations as well as local businesses. It describes itself as Leicester’s brightest public relations agency, an approach much appreciated by Incorporatewear.

“I believe Duncan and his team are extraordinarily well-paced to be able to take Incorporatewear’s public image to the next level,” explains Chris Wood, a director of Incorporatewear. “We recognise an ability to work with both traditional media and newly developing communication channels which I think will prove to be incredibly exciting. In corporatewear terms, we see this as a great fit!”

Certainly the future seems bright for Incorporatewear and with recent contact success, the launch of a pioneering iPhone app and industry recognition in the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show’s Business Manager Awards, 2010 is proving to be a tremendous year.
