C'mon you Blues

Suiting supplied for the 2010 FA cup final.

A roar of “C’mon you Blues!” might be heard from either end of Wembley on 15 May 2010 as Portsmouth and Chelsea face each other in this year’s FA Cup Final.

Winner takes all on the day, of course, but Incorporatewear, the UK’s premier supplier of corporate clothing, is already celebrating its part in the occasion.

Reprising his role from 2008, Jeff Banks CBE is designing Portsmouth’s entire pre-match clothing: suits, shirts and ties, even underwear. And who better to decorate and make bespoke alterations than Incorporatewear.

Jeff, a founder of the company and a source of its ethos of design and attention to detail, immediately looked to Incorporatewear to provide flexible embroidery and sizing services.

Incorporatewear’s Operations Director, Brian Lamb, was delighted to oblige, commenting, “Whatever your allegiances it’s a great honour to be involved in this worldwide sporting occasion. The outfits look superb and I’m thrilled that Incorporatewear is able to add these finishing touches that can often prove to be so important.”

Whether the Cup remains in London or travels to the south coast is uncertain.  But there’s not doubt that Incorporatewear will have proved once again its ability to delivery outstanding clothing solutions

May the best team win!

Size Matters

Corporatewear Supplier Incorporatewear Shows it's new sizing mannequinsSize may or may not matter, but sizing certainly does. That’s why Incorporatewear takes great pains to ensure its corporate clothing not only looks good but feels good too.

As the UK’s premier supplier of corporatewear, uniforms and workwear Incorporatewear understand the need to blend style, practicality and fit. But that’s not all. Getting garment sizing right first time can mean a faster, more cost-efficient service.

“We’ve been actively investigating how Incorporatewear give an even better service in this area,” comments Incorporatewear’s Designer, Paula Cannon. “And now I think we have the answer.”

Incorporatewear’s innovative response is to use Alvanon’s bespoke Alvaform mannequins (find out more at www.alvanon.com). These allow highly accurate fitting of garments irrespective of build, age or gender: vitally important in the provision of corporatewear across diverse wearer groups.

“We’ve invested to ensure a better fit, first time,” continues Paula. “Our manufacturers have the same mannequins so specification changes can be made quickly and accurately. This now makes it possible to finalise amendments via video-link, significantly reducing the risks of miscommunication and ambiguity. We think this is an industry first and an important step forward.”

Incorporatewear believes these developments will help to further accelerate its design and sealing processes, reducing cost and ensuring a highly efficient service.

Large or small, short or tall: wearer requests can come in all shapes and sizes, but rest assured that Incorporatewear can guarantee a fitting response!
